On Stage Live Dortmund 2019 - Swaps and Fun!

Hi Everyone!

I've just about come back down to Earth after an absolutely fabulous week in Dortmund attending On Stage Live.

For those who don't know, On Stage is a bi-annual event where Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the World come together and have crafting fun, NEW products and presentations, along with a LOT of laughing! I've only ever attended the one day 'local' events before now so when the Live 3 day event came to Europe, I just had to go - and boy, I did not regret that decision for one second!

Usually at these sorts of events, people 'swap' cards or 3D items to give inspiration to each other. Unfortunately, life has just been incredibly busy for me lately, so I didn't have time to make any swaps. But, luckily (or unluckily depending which way you look at it), I had made some swaps for a previous team event which in the end I could not attend as I was poorly. So I decided to take those along instead! I had only made 5, but lovely demo's still gavee me a swap from them even though I had nothing to give in return - such a nice thing to do!

So, here is the swap I had made for our team Pinkies event, but I ended up taking to Dortmund:

One of my favourite bundles in the Annual Catalogue is 'Noble Peacock' so I had to use that - the papers in the suite are so so gorgeous - it took a lot to make me cut them up (I'm sure many of you know how that feels!!!!)

I sponged some Whisper White cardstock with Lovely Lipstick, Pretty Peacock and Blueberry Bushel ink. I then die cut the peackcok out and mounted on the Swirly embossing folder and some of the gorgeous Royal Peacock papers. A couple of sequins for a bit of bling and there you have it. I love this card, so I hope the Demo's I swapped with like it too.

Now, as I've explained a bit about On Stage, I wanted to share a few photos with you from the week - my particular highlight was meeting Sara Douglass (CEO of Stampin' Up!) - she is so incredibly lovely and spent time chatting with me before I had my photo taken! I truly had a wonderful time, and can only thank the people I shared the time with, my tummy hurt a lot from laughing so much!

Products used for my Swap are all available in my online shop:
