Sorry Theme for October International Highlights

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my post for my entry to this month's International Blog Highlight with Kylie Bertucci.

This month we were asked to create a card which has the theme 'Sorry'. This was a tough one for me - I don't have many stamp sets which specifically has 'sorry' in it, and I also prefer to make cards for happy occasions rather than sad ones!

Here is my entry: if you like it, please vote for me by clicking on the link http://www.craftykylie.com/2018/10/kylies-international-highlights-october.html
I very much appreciate your support!

To make this card, I decided to use the 'Waterfront' stamp set - I love this stamp set, it's got so many different uses and you can build up some amazing scenery with it - looks so effective but very easy to use. I also decided to use my Brusho's again to do some watercolouring for the background before stamping the scenery.

To get the background, rather than putting the Brusho powder directly onto the cardstock (I used watercolour card to absorb the water), I mixed some Brusho powder with water and then used my aqua painter to 'paint' onto the card. I really love this sentiment from 'Waterfront' too - it doesn't specifically say 'sorry' but it does let someone know you're thinking of them if they're going through a hard time - so a lovely card to send to someone! It's easy to make a card like this yourself - check out my product list below to see what I used.
