Hi Everyone!
Since starting my blog, I've wanted to take part in some card making challenges. One great way of doing this is to take part in the Stampin' Up! Global Design Project (GDP)challanges. Each week, a challenge is set, whether that is to create a card with certain colours, CASE (Copy and selectively edit) a card or follow a sketch for a card, and us demonstrators go away and come up with something to enter!
This is my first entry into a GDP challenge. The challenge this week was to create a card using these 3 ink colours:
Those of you who are very observant may have spotted that I have used one of these colours on my webpage - Mint Macaron is a particular favourite of mine, so I was very happy to use it on a card!
As I needed a card for a special Birthday, I decided to combine the challenge with that. Unfortunately the numbers dies used on this card have retired but everything else used is brand new. I love the Stitched All Around stamp set and dies, and love the effect, particularly the embossed section. The finishing touch was to add some gorgeous DSP and ribbon. I hope the recipient likes the card!
To see other amazing cards that have been entered for this challenge, head to http://www.global-design-project.com and take a look around!
Laura, you did a wonderful job with the color challenge. Thanks for joining us this week at Global Design Project.
